Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

Overview

Our policies as laid out on this page lasts for 14 days.  If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a return, refund or exchange.  If you product is outside of the 14 day period we may be able to offer you a credit note upon receipt of the returned items.

The 14 day period does not apply if you are purchasing personalised or customised items.

Returns & Refunds (if applicable)

To be eligible for a return or a refund, your item must be unused and not be personalised.  If item is personalised and is damaged we will  require a photograph of the item prior to issuing a replacement item or a refund.  To be eligible for a refund we must receive the item, in an unused condition and its original packaging.  If the item is damaged and unpersonalised and you would like a refund please return the item to the address below and we will refund your purchase.  In all cases you will be responsible for the cost of returns the items to us.

If you have purchased an item that is not personalised then you maybe required to pay a re-stocking fee when you return your item.  Our full costs are set out below.  Please check with us prior to purchasing our clothing if these will apply to you.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery will unfortunately not be valid for a refund or exchange.

School Uniforms – If you need to return or get a refund for an item of school uniform please contact us and we can arrange for another item of school uniform to be sent out/or process your refund once the original item is returned.  Please make sure the item is unworn and in its original packaging.  To help us process your exchange quicker please make sure you have included your order number with any correspondence you make to us.

Additional Refund Costs

Subject to the Buyer having a right to return the Goods pursuant to these terms, all sales are final.  However, Heatwave Print does, subject to the terms of this clause, recognise that there may be occasions when it is appropriate to accept returns from the Buyer and Heatwave Print shall, on a case by case basis, consider doing do.  For the purposes of this clause, any Goods which the Buyer wants to return shall be referred to as “Returned Goods”;

Heatwave Print will, in any circumstances, only accept returns if the following conditions are met: 

(a) The Buyer shall provide a proper invoice number in respect of the Returned Goods;

(b)  By way of a restocking charge, the Buyer shall pay to Heatwave Print a sum equivalent to either £30 (or equivalent in Euros if applicable) or 20% of the price of the Returned Goods;

(c) The Returned Goods must not have been worn (including tried on) and must be returned in their original unopened packaging;

(d) The Returned Goods must be returned with all original documentation that was supplied with the Goods;

(e) Heatwave Print retain the right to refuse Returned Goods should Heatwave Print deem them to be unsuitable for resale;

(f) The Buyer will pay for and arrange the return of the Returned Goods.

The following Goods will not be eligible to be returned pursuant to this clause:

(a) Any products from the Result Air Down range;

(b) Underwear;

(c) Consumables;

(d) Christmas and seasonal product e.g The Christmas Shop

(e) Any Goods which have been ordered as bespoke Goods by the Buyer (for example, embroidered and/or personalised Goods);

(f) Samples;

(g) Any Goods which have been in the possession of the Buyer for more than 28 days after delivery;

(h) Discontinued lines;

(i) Seasonal products;

(j) Any Goods which have, as their function, the protection of health and safety and/or the hygiene of the wearer.  By way of (non-exhaustive) examples, high visibility garments, earplugs, face masks and goggles.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@heatwaveprint.co.uk.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.  If you have purchased a sale item that has been customised, these cannot be refunded unless the item is damaged or defective, however, if the item was on sale it is likely to discontinued stock and no longer available.  In these cases we will do our best to source a similar replacement item for you.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only exchange customised items if they are defective or damaged.  If you have purchased an uncustomised item please contact us on the details below to arrange for an exchange.  Please make sure that you check the size is correct at the time of purchasing uncustomised items as we do not hold stock from our suppliers.  If you do require an exchange due to ordering the incorrect size you maybe charge a restocking fee if we are unable to resell your chosen item.

School Uniforms – If you need to exchange an item of school uniform please contact us and we can arrange for another item of school uniform to be sent out once the original item is returned.  Please make sure the item is unworn and in its original packaging.  To help us process your exchange quicker please make sure you have included your order number with any correspondence you make to us.
