Print Services

At Heatwave Print we can brand your clothing with a wide variety of printing methods.  All have their own benefits and some are only suitable for certain products.  If you are unsure what printing method you would like on your garments please contact us and we will be more than happy to advise you which print would be best for your garments and design. We have lots of information on the pages below about the printing methods, should you need anything else, please Contact Us.

Embroidery

Our set up fees for embroidery are £30 exc VAT.  This money converts your artwork to a file that works on our embroidery machines.  We will also run a sample and send to you for approval the first time we embroider your logo.  This allows  you to make any changes you wish, we will then run another sample for you.  Should you still require changes after the second sample further charges may apply.

Screen Printing

For screen printing we require your artwork to be in a .ai or .eps file with each colour on its own layer.  This allows us to split out the colours and create a screen for each colour.  From here we can also match the ink to your pantone colour.  Depending on the fabric or the colours we will choose between a water-based ink or a plastisol ink.

Direct to Film

Digital prints, printed with Eco-friendly inks, indirectly on to a film and heat applied to your garments.  Suitable for all types of garments, and perfect for complex designs.

Sublimation & Bespoke

Digital prints, printed onto a paper and heat applied to white polyester garments.  Also used for printing on to mugs, mouse mats and other promotional items.

Direct to Garment

The next step up from screen printing, Direct to Garment (DTG), is just like printing a photo, but onto clothes.  Exact colour matching and great detail, best results on cotton garments, these are great for complex and vibrant designs.
